Rebecca Manfredi

Rebecca Manfredi


Rebecca Manfredi took over in 1996 as managing director. The daughter of Domenico Manfredi, Suncream’s founder, Rebecca holds a first class honours degree and has worked for the business for more than 28 years. She is committed to ensuring product quality and consistency, as well as delivering exceptional customer service.

Rebecca recently won the ‘Outstanding Contribution’ Award in the Midlands Family Business Awards 2013, which recognised her contribution to the growth of the family firm. Suncream was also Highly Commended for ‘Manufacturing Excellence’ in the same awards scheme. Rebecca is also a business mentor to the Prince’s Trust.

Dave Rossell, Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager

David has more than 30 years’ engineering  experience and specialises in the food industry.  At Suncream he has responsibility for maintaining and developing a robust PPM System and a spares stock management system to ensure that production requirements are met whilst ensuring compliance with H&S, EHO, BRC, legislation and customer requirements.

Jordan James

Manufacturing Manager

Jordan has 22 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry including six in a dairy processing plant.  He has full responsibility for all Suncream’s operations including goods in, planning, production and despatch through to the maintenance and health & safety of the entire site, and plans to use his BSc in Business Information Technology to help improve operating efficiency across the business.

Quality Manager

Paul, who has a degree in Dairy Science, has worked in the dairy industry since 2002 and brings to Suncream a wealth of industry knowledge gained in both technical and production departments.  He has responsibility for the application and implementation of all relevant food safety and quality systems, ensuring that the site standards are consistently maintained to the highest standard.

Gillian Graham, Sales Manager

Sales Manager

Gillian manages the Suncream sales operation and is responsible for day to day liaison with existing customers (both UK and international), and for developing the business across the wholesale and foodservice sectors. Gillian has over 20 years’ experience working with ice cream in both the wholesaler and foodservice national account sectors.

Technical Manager

Helen has considerable experience of working with household brands and major retailers, and an in-depth knowledge of the foodservice industry. As Suncream’s technical manager, Helen has responsibility for ensuring that the highest standards of food safety and quality are applied across the manufacturing process – from ingredients to production of the finished ice cream.

Dave Ebdon

Warehouse Manager

Dave is in charge of all outside space, cold storage and warehousing, and has worked at Suncream for 13 years. Dave is in charge of the very accurate picking operation.

Stephanie Davies

Field Sales Executive

Stephanie is responsible for new local business and placing that with our network of distributors – helping to grow sales from the ‘bottom up’. She also manages existing customer accounts and undertakes all exhibitions for ourselves and our customers. Stephanie has over 20 years’ sales experience and has a wide ranging knowledge of the ice cream industry. She holds a BA Honours Degree in Business Studies and is able to advise new food start-ups as well as supporting established foodservice outlets and wholesalers.

Jo Wood

Office Manager

Jo has worked with Rebecca for 20 years. Jo oversees day to day operations and hands on delivery of service. She liaises with customers and on a day to day basis ensures that their needs are met. She lives and breathes the ethos that ‘the customer comes first’.
